For churches & ministries

Are you setting up prayer circles for your members?

If you represent a church, ministry or campus group, you can create an organization page and run circles for the people in it — rather than everyone keeping their own separate lists.

Set up my organization

You'll sign in first — it takes about a minute.

  1. Create your organization page

Your church, ministry or campus group, with a short description and a link to your website.

  2. Set up circles for your members

A circle per small group, ministry team or class. Each one has its own prayer list and its own members.

  3. Invite people in

Members join by invitation. Prayer requests stay inside the circle they were shared with.

Official circles, private prayers

A circle that belongs to an organization is official: it is owned by the organization rather than by whoever happened to create it, so it survives a leader moving on, and leadership can be handed to someone else.

What is shared inside it stays inside it. Someone from the organization who is not a member of a circle cannot read its prayers — and that is enforced by the database, not by a setting anyone can change.

A leader who wants to see what a circle is praying for has to join it, where its members can see that they are there.

More structured than a group of friends

Organization circles suit groupings with a shape to them — a women's group, a ministry team, a class. They can run indefinitely, or for a season: a semester, a study, Lent.

For a few friends praying together, an ordinary circle is simpler and works just as well.

Already praying together?

A circle that already exists can become one of the organization's circles. Its leader and the organization both have to agree, and everyone in it is told. Nothing about who can read its prayers changes. The organization can later release it back to its leader.

Just want it for yourself or a few friends?

You don't need an organization. Sign up and start a circle — it works the same way, without the organization page.
